Ferentinos Farm

We're more than just a farm! Ferentinos Farm is a family-run operation focused on sustainable farming and the preservation of heritage poultry breeds. We're excited to bring our pasture-raised, organic eggs and meat (from happy, vegetarian-fed birds!) to you. Heritage poultry can forage on land unsuitable for crops. Their meat and eggs are among the richest and most efficient sources of essential micronutrients, macronutrients, and fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6).

Plus, we're working on growing our online store with even more  goodies.

Driven by Passion, Guided by Mission

Beyond providing nutritious food, we are deeply committed to conserving rare breeds through responsible breeding and education. Your support directly funds our mission, as we aim to be recognized by the Livestock Conservancy for our conservation work. Our passion for heritage poultry breeds fuels our mission to preserve them. There is a role for each of us to get involved in helping conserve these breeds for future generations (want to help?).

Our website features two interconnected brands: Ferentinos Farm and Mother Earth Blessed (launching soon). Ferentinos Farm provides premium animal products, ethically raised on our family farm to ensure freshness and nourishment. Our core belief in respecting nature is embodied by our farm's tagline, "Mother Earth Blessed," which is also the foundation for our distinct, soon-to-launch brand.

 

Mother Earth Blessed will offer a unique selection of packaged goods, including artisanal jams and baked goods, all crafted with a focus on sustainability, natural goodness, and a deep respect for the earth. "Mother Earth" symbolizes the nurturing and life-sustaining role of our planet.

 

Our Orthodox ethos (Christian) deeply influences how we view the inherent advantages of our farm – the land, reliable water, and the grace of God in our work, all of which we encapsulate in the term "Blessed." This ethos is clearly seen in our practices at Ferentinos Farm, guided by the following core values, principles, and beliefs:
